No Friends Australia began as an agent to sell the original No Friends bodyboarding videos from the USA in ’98. The popularity of the ground breaking vids opened the door to other retail aspects. Sick of the surf brands cashing in on the sport the NF brand was born.

No Friends Clothing brand began in Australia and with the help of team riders like Michael Crawley, Sean Virtue, Jono Bruce, Joel Taylor and Dave Winchester we started a clothing revolution on a scale that has not been witnessed in the sport before. With Bodyboard specialist stores popping up everywhere in Oz by 2000 the brand flourished. Other brands were soon to follow and helped fill an untapped market. However the market is not the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow with many brands coming and going. Bodyboarders on a whole still refuse to get behind the brands which reflects badly on the sport in the long run. As the old saying goes ”You can lead a camel to water but you can’t make him drink”.

Over the years we have sponsored many of Australias top riders including Chris James, Tom Robinson,Max Arnette, Joe Clarke, Cory Mclean, Dylan Lee, Doug and John Showell and many more. Today we are in cruise control, kicking back but still along for the ride.
